Early DAZ Studio
These early DAZ renders look like something out of "Dawn of the Dead".
Awful.
These DAZ images were created after a few updates to DAZ Studio. The quality of the output is much improved.
In this sequence of pictures, I was trying to find a suitable character for a project. I needed a figure that didn't need too much modifying, and was able to accept clothing without any problems.
Poser Examples
In addition to DAZ Studio, I have also experimented with another 3D character renderer, called Poser. It is supposed to be quite easy to import Poser objects into Vue, but I think I'm missing a step somewhere.
The quality of Poser's renders is really good now, and it was in Poser that I found the character I was looking for to use in my project. But there was still the persistant problem of the invisible clothing.
